Article Columns and what they can do for your business, enterprise, or mission on the web

Article Columns on the web (and especially so at our various Portal sites) work pretty much the same way as they function in a regular News Paper, or Magazine. They are owned and published by a single Columnist and are generally Syndicated which allows other Papers to also carry that Column (usually for a fee of course).

Columns any paper decides upon carrying or not is dictated according to what that papers Mission statement is all about, and the sort of Content THEIR readers express an interest in reading about. You likely will NOT FIND any Church oriented News Paper or periodical carrying such columns which go Against the church, or may contain too much controversial materials for a reason.

The same thing holds true at a web site someone owns and manages. They WANT FRESH EVER changing Content to display within their pages (because the search engines will rank their own site better if they have it), yet they certainly do NOT wish to carry such content in direct Conflict with what their own site is all about.

People are interested in a vast array of different topics from Gardening, self Help guides, Medicine, Financial advice, Legal Advice, Family Living, Politics, Empowerment issues, and everything in between. If YOU can WRITE about it - Someone will find value in your writings.

Here within this site we Encourage new content creators to join us. This particular portal site is more interested in American Issues of importance the regular news papers and media sources are NOT carrying (although they should be) which is WHY this site is here to begin with.

So If you are passionate about the important issues of our day here in America request we make you a Columnist about the topic you are passionate and knowledgeable enough within to create regular content within. Categories such as maybe: IRS, Federal Reserve, Fair Tax, Social Security, or other such categories are encouraged.

HOW DOES IT ALL WORK

Once we assign someone as a Column Owner, only THEY can create and manage content within their own Channel. Creating your content is easy via our built in Editing system (very much like a word processor) and you CAN include Photos/images/VIDEO within your content as well.

Channels are also Syndicated which allows you or anyone the ability to add your Channels FEEDS into any web site anywhere which automatically updates itself every six hours dynamically. IF you are good at writing content within your channel you can expect dozens or hundreds, or even THOUSANDS of others across the web wanting to include YOUR channels content within their own sites.

Okay, it should be easy for anyone (even non marketing people) to realize just how powerful this can be in your corner to accomplish whatever goal it is you have been TRYING to do for so long now that you forget how long and do so very very Quickly.........

Now, Although this particular Portal is aimed more at Patriotism and such Content, we have other portals which are aimed at more local area market places in NE Florida which offer the SAME type of Channels but with much more diverse interests (which can be of a commercial nature as well).

IF for instance say you reside within St Augustine Florida, Have your own Bait and Tackle shop for fishermen in the nations oldest city, it would be greatly in your benefit to request your own Bait and tackle (or Fishing Channel) at our St Augustine Portal site

IF you write great creative information, and useful Tips and Tricks about catching the BIG ONE within your channel it won't be too long before others with similar interest WILL ASK to include YOUR channels content within their pages as well. We will SHOW YOU JUST HOW to fill such requests with some easy to use CODE ANYONE can insert within their pages to do just that.

Actually this ability works much the same way as the Big Boys on the block such as the popular Moreover.com service, but our channels are just much more targeted to our own Local Florida area market place. I mean after all, YOU LIVE AND WORK HERE locally, Your Bait and Tackle shop is unlikely to get people flying in from New York, or Illinois just to buy a fishing rod or some bait from you.

What you WILL get however are LOCAL PEOPLE in your area close enough to where your business is located to actually Visit your Store and even wish to include YOUR channel within their site IF you are adding regular content (interesting articles of value, and maybe some Special Offers your store may have).

The above sites are targeted towards areas of Florida or specific Topic types of interest you MAY consider signing up to as a member and request ownership rights for your own Channel within. Once a Channel is setup at ANY of the above it is owned by that person we change ownership rights for and no longer available for anyone else!

Although IF you have your own website somewhere you can always simply add content to your site, you can NOT allow others to Embed your content within their pages UNLESS that content is Dynamic in Nature! That is what your Channel is (Dynamic).

In addition even if you have your own site somewhere, most static type sites (basic ole HTML type sites) are generally a PIA to add content within regularly and embedding useful Images/Photos/or even VIDEO into the pages can also be a major PIA unless you are your own knowledgeable Webmaster.

You COULD setup a Channel at one of our sites per the above (which is very easy to use) and add the Code into YOUR site which will always display your latest specials, or creative writings about and save yourself a LOT of time money and effort.

Bear in mind that NOT EVERYONE will be allowed ownership rights for their own channel at any of the sites above. Each site has its own Rules and Policies, and in addition NONE of the sites above want just silly willy nilly content editors.

There is a Screening process involved BEFORE we will take the time to setup your account as a Channel Owner just so that you know Membership at any of the sites above does NOT Guarantee we will make you a Channel owner just for requesting that privilege alone...

Visit any of the sites above you may be interested in contributing Content within, Review their rules and policies, Request of the site owner what it is you wish to accomplish and see if it may be a good fit for you and your mission.
